As Lannie tries to embrace it all, she finds Ash. When both of them dream of the same little blonde boy, Ash is led to Northeast Harbor, Maine to help protect her from the Vampire King. I love the paranormal genre because there's a certain amount of I guess you'd say world editing involved to bring these unknown elements into our world. You never know what to expect, each writer perceives legends differently or edits them to fit their own story and that element of the unexpected I think is what makes the genre great.

Thanks for the giveaway and chance to win! I guess my favorite thing about the paranormal is the inherent mystery. The creatures (vampires, witches, etc.) or abilities (telepathy, telekenesis, etc.) make for a character that in at least some ways are not human and thus unrelatable. But at the same time, they are usually very human, too. I think it's interesting to see how different authors reconcile these to aspects in what they write.
